So you have the best of both worlds. people say the Shelby is the best for drag type stuff while the roush and saleen mustang are more for course track type stuff. So can you make a shelby mustang have the suspension of a roush but the speed of a shelby? How much would it cost?
Can you put a stage 3 roush’s or saleen mustangs suspension kit in a Shelby GT500?

You could, but why would you want to. Can you take a drag car and beat slalom cars? Can you take a slalom car and beat drag cars? The answer is no. You can get to the middle of drag and slalom, but the car won’t do well at either. If you would rather your car do well at slalom and not drag, then change the corresponding compents (you can get them through the SVO catalog) to get a slalom car, no need to change out the whole suspension. Setting up the suspension as to what you prefer is a bigger deal than how much horsepower the vehicle has. If you can’t get the wheels to “hook up” and get the weight distrubution centered, then you are not going to drag very well. If you can’t keep your car as level as possible in slalom, then you aren’t going to slalom very well.
i dont believe it will do much for the shelby. the gt500 is a nice car and is built not only for straight line performance but for corners too.too me the saleen and roush are overpriced knockoffs of a shelby anyway.i would leave the gt500 alone and maybe do some minor suspension tweaks that will help it handle any better. you can look at this in this way, there is a reason why ford back the gt500 with a full factory warranty and saleens and roush have to get approval for work from those companies first.
