If there’s one thing Ford has learned in recent months, it’s the magic that comes with combining the words “Mustang” and “Shelby.” Throw in the harsh reality that Ford needs all the magic it can conjure these days, and you have the makings of yet another Shelby Mustang. Following closely (some might say too closely) on the heels of the Shelby GT500 and Shelby GT-H, this latest hot-rod pony is simply dubbed “Shelby GT” and is, for the most part, a retail version of the GT-H rental car offered through select Hertz agencies.
2007 Porsche Cayman First Drive by Edmunds’ Inside Line
Our weekend thrash of the new standard/regular/base/normal 2007 Porsche Cayman on German back roads and autobahns instantly revealed that this S-less wünder retains much of the inherent goodness and finely honed driving behavior of the original high-performance, 2-seat, midengine/rear-drive Cayman S coupe. What has been lost in the S-removal process is 50 horsepower, 0.7 second of 0-60 quickness, and $9500 in price.
Is it more awesome to ride in a Ferrari or drive a Lotus?
Okay so my friend’s girlfriend’s dad has a Ferrari Spyder 430 and my friend has rode in it. My friend has a Lotus Elise and if I ask him I could drive it any time I like with him in the car. The friend with the girlfriend is the same age as me (8th grade) and the friend with the Lotus is a sophomore in high school. I just need answers to settle a debate.
